Facebook, the giant in social networking world has recently launched their new feature called “Facebook Messaging” and it is said to be rolled out over next few days to users via invite only. The youngest billionaire and the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg calls it as a “Next Generation Messaging”. Here in this article at thecopypasteblog, I am going to brief all the features and other aspects of this innovative service by Facebook.
There are 3 main elements of this products which have been announced at “The Facebook Event: We’ve Got Fmail!” which took place on this Monday, the Nov. 15th. In addition, Facebook has also purchased FB.com which will be used for this service. If you point your browser to FB.com! Below are those 3 elements of Fmail described but before that, watch the official video launched by the Facebook team explaining how Facebook Messaging works.
1. Seamless Messaging
Each user will be provided their personal mail address with @Facebook.com so it can be used as their email address and one can receive mails from person not using Facebook as well. The main concept of Seamless messaging is to allow user to choose which way of communication they prefer. May it be via SMS or chat or mail and they will receive the message from the chosen medium and this way, the conversation will become real-time for both the users using it.
2. Conversation History
As of now, Facebook does not allow to save the conversation made by using facebook chat. So, now users will be allowed to save each and every chat conversations and all the other conversations made with someone all at one place. Imagine if you meet a person on Facebook and get married to him/her in real life! Your all the conversations you made via Facebook will be saved forever as memories.
3. The Social Inbox
This is the most important feature of this Facebook messaging service which simply means that your inbox will contain messages only from your friends and friends of friends. This simply is for those who find themselves too lazy to create lists in their inbox to filter unwanted mails or manage their mails. All the messages received by third parties will go to a separate folder created by default in this service.
My Take
As a first look and news whatever I am reading, all I can say is that this service really seems interesting and great though it will surely require some more upgrades and Facebook will need to update it once again but still, I would surely love to use it as this will innovate the world of emails and we will soon be able to send mail by just typing the name of the person and not by typing a long-tailed difficult to remember email id!
Your Take
It is important to know how you feel about the new Facebook Messaging. You may write in your views as a comment below and let me know how you find it and what more should be added to this innovative idea!
P.S. This new Facebook messages service is rolling out only to invited users and I will be writing about how to get Fmail invite in my next article coming up next in few hours.

If got an invite do pass on to me would like to use the service
I would say it's a better option when you need to put in a message to someone, so that he reads it when he logs into his account. It would make things much easier. Sending an Email as such takes time. We think of professional approach. So messaging would be quick.
