You must have been through so many Google Chrome extensions if you are a Chrome lover and it has always been so complicated and a time consuming task about which extension to choose. Now, if you are a web developer then you must need some extensions which make your task easier. So here today, I am going to provide you that short and sweet list of those extensions which are really helpful and you should use as recommended.
1. Firebug Lite

Firebug Lite for Google Chrome is not a substitute for Firebug, or Chrome Developer Tools. It is a tool to be used in conjunction with these tools. Firebug Lite provides the rich visual representation we are used to see in Firebug when it comes to HTML elements, DOM elements, and Box Model shading. It provides also some cool features like inspecting HTML elemements with your mouse, and live editing CSS properties.

3. Snippy
Snippy is a really useful extension for collecting snippets of screenshots from a range of different sites. All you do is navigate to a web page, click on the Snippy icon, select which elements from the page you want to save, and press Show Snippets to bring up a window with all the elements you’ve selected. You can combine as many snippets as you like, from as many different sites as you like.

5. Speed Tracer

Speed Tracer is a tool to help you identify and fix performance problems in your web applications. It visualizes metrics that are taken from low level instrumentation points inside of the browser and analyzes them as your application runs. Speed Tracer is available as a Chrome extension and works on all platforms where extensions are currently supported (Windows and Linux).

This extension styles — or rather “unstyles” — the web. Just imagine: text is black, backgrounds are white, unread links are blue, visited links are purple, all links are underlined. Or any other colors you like. And all text is rendered in your default fonts (as defined in “Options” > “Under the Hood” > “Change font and language settings”). Everywhere. Automatically.
7. Validity

Validity is a quick and easy way to validate a current web page. Simply validate by clicking on the Validity icon in the address bar or pressing “Ctrl+Alt+V”. You can even use your own installation of the W3C Validation Service if you wish.

Chrome Extension that generates random “Lorem Ipsum” text. It uses a minimalist and well looking design. Many other extensions of this type – in other browsers – simply complicate this task, using really extensive code, XHR, etc. The main purpose of this one, is to use the less amount of code (and also memory) and help the developer/user to get the job done.
10. Web Edit
Very fun extension, can be used to edit any webpage!! Just press F12 on any http:// webpage, and edit text and delete things like photos, and embed elements. You can even delete a YouTube video off a page! Once you’ve had your fun, just press F2 to turn off edit mode, for a convincing looking defaced webpage. *Note changes are not permanent, once you refresh, they will go away. Trick anybody into thinking you’re a hacker! WebEdit is running all the time, so whenever you want to start, just hit F12. Watch for YouTube video soon!
11. Chrome Sniffer

This extension will help web developer to inspect web framework / CMS and javascript library running on current browsing website. An icon will appear on address bar indicates the detected framework.
12. Eye Dropper

Eye Dropper and Color Picker extension which allows you to pick color from any webpage or from advanced color picker.
13. Pendule

Extended web developer tools for Chrome.Use this extension in addition to the built-in Developer Tools (Ctrl+Shift+I).
14. Chrome Flags

The extension displays a country flag indicating the physical location of the websites you’re visiting. The extension also provides access to detailed information regarding the website’s servers, owners, traffic and trustworthiness.
15. IE Tab

Use Internet Explorer to display web pages in a Chrome tab. Some sites can only be displayed using IE, and with this extension you can now see those sites without leaving Chrome. Great for web developers who want to test the IE rendering engine, users who use sites with ActiveX controls, and users who want to use the explorer view for local files (i.e. file:// URLs).
