So, the world is watching a fascinating scene in the sky since last couple of days and its about supermoon, the talk of the town! In some parts of the world, the weather isn’t that clear so that they can watch the actual supermoon. The moon is said to be just 356, 575 kms away form the planet Earth. So, did you watch the supermoon in your region? Well, I am compiling some fascinating, beautiful images of the Supermoon from around the world captured by different photographers and shared on Flickr. Enjoy!
As said by Wikipedia, Supermoon is a new or full moon which occurs with the Moon at or near (within 90% of) its closest approach to Earth in a given orbit. In short, Earth, Moon and Sun are all in a line, with Moon in its nearest approach to Earth. The next Supermoon will occur on November 14, 2016 as said by NASA.
