Diaspora : A Cool New and Impressive Social Network in Town!

Hey everyone! I know it’s been a long time writing here but trust me, I’ve been really busy with my new site SkotGat but I’m loving every bit of it and good thing is that the ranking of this new site has been improved drastically over a few days’ time and we’re now ready to launch it up from Sept. 11. Anyway, today I got some first look of the new social networking site named Diaspora and to me, it looked pretty impressive and promising. Here’s my personal review on it.

diaspora

Diaspora as said by the creators is “With Diaspora you decide what you’d like to share, and with whom. You retain full ownership of all your information, including friend lists, messages, photos, and profile details. You own your pictures, and you shouldn’t have to give that up just to share them. You maintain ownership of everything you share on Diaspora, giving you full control over how it’s distributed.”

I personally found it quite an innovative one as overall looks like it has all 3 i.e Twitter, Facebook and Google+’s feature blended and integrated quite well and they’ve successfully made it a cool nice and new social network.

The most innovative feature was cubbi.es which allows you to share photos to diaspora by just a shift key and a mouse click and the site cubbi.es also allows you to integrate your dropbox account which makes you easy to store your photos in no time! This was an outstanding feature you can use on Diaspora.

As this network is still in its Alpha mode currently, we can expect some good announcements in the upcoming time with its beta launch and the final launch. The good thing is that it is built by hackers so it is surely going to be a secure place according to me. Don’t forget to add me on Diaspora 😉

That’s all from me for now. If you need an invite to Diaspora, Feel free to check this link out. So, did you like Diaspora? Let me know with your cool comments.

  4. You don't need any invite to try Diaspora, ONLY for joindiaspora.com, but there are a lot of other servers, all interconnected. This is one of its main strenghts. Anyone can add their own.

    Try https://diasp.org for instance.
