I have been using Adobe air since quite a long time but recently I have been researching about its greatness and flows and in this research, I have found some very cool application which are very light weight in use as compared to the normal applications and they provide a great user experience with hi-class design etc. Here in this list, I am going to provide you all those cool application which I found while working with Adobe air. It is going to be a long list but I hope you will enjoy!
1. GMDesk

GMDesk is an application that lets you run Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and Google Maps as a stand-alone application to do all your mail handling, calendar event reading etc with. No need to open it up in a web browser, or have it clutter your workspace.
2. ReadAir
ReadAir is a desktop client for Google Reader.
This application lets you buzz from your desktop. Just login to your google account through this and start buzzing.
4. Google Calendar Invoice Creator
This application reads an RSS feed from your Google Calendar in which every created appointment the number of hours worked for a project represents. Based on the title it filters the appointments, calculates the total of hours and creates your invoice in html or text version. Obviously you need a Google account to use this application.
Desktop application for Google Translate service. Allows you to translate any language from your desktop itself. A cool application to have it.
Media

Adobe Media Player allows you to download your favorite TV content, play it while offline, track future episodes and more.
8. DeskTube
DeskTube is a desktop client for YouTube that allows you to view, search, comment, upload and even download the video you are currently viewing.
A full featured video player that will play F4V, MP4, M4V, M4A, MOV, Mp4v, 3gp, 3g2 and flv files. You can also stretch the video to Fullscreen, copy screenshot to the clipboard and more.
10. Destroy Flickr
DestroyFlickr is all about finding other ways to view Flickr photos that emphasize the photos, and not what is around them. You can view on a dark background, keep a history of where you have been that is easy to navigate and a lot more.
11. Flickr Flipper
Allows you to search all of Flickr, or just the images of a specific user. Also gives you the ability to download any images you come across that you like.
12. FlickRoom
Flickroom is an Adobe AIR application that provides Flickr users an enhanced browsing experience of photos.
13. Photo Table
A great way of collecting images you find on the Web that you like. Simply drag them out of your browser onto the app and they are saved there until you decide to get rid of them.
14. Doppelganger
An easy video download app that only requires you drag the link for a video into it to start the download. Currently only supports YouTube.
15. BookMash
Bookmash does a little bit of everything by searching for videos (Daily Motion, Metacafe, YouTube), music (Last.fm and Seeqpod), photos from Flickr, news from Digg and a lot more, all from one easy interface.
AOL Top 100 is the desktop widget featuring the top 100 most watched music videos across many genres including Pop, Rock & Alternative, Hip Hop, Country and Latin. Watch music videos in full screen or standard mode. Found video you like? You can easily bookmark and watch them whenever you want. Although there is one major problem with this widget, about 15-20% of videos don’t work.
17. UVlayer
UvLayer allows users to discover, share, and watch videos throughout the webosphere. You can add RSS feeds from various sources, even other users’. The format is great because you can drag the different video windows around, so you can organize it any way you want.
18. StudioCloud PSG
A perfect tool for photographers of all levels. You can change the images inside the app to please the customer, crop, take orders, organize your work and more.
19. OrbitZoom
Drop a picture into the program and zoom in on sections, pan around, and get to know your pictures better.
Design
20. Shrink O’Matic

Ever needed to resize several images at the same time? This bulk resizer will take the tedium out of the process for you.
22. WebKut
WebKut is an AIR application that allows you to capture web pages, or parts of them in a very simple way.
23. Icon Generator
Icon Generator is a little application that lets you generate a CS3 or Web 2.0 style icon, only 3 step. Pick color, type characters, and save it.
24. Font Picker
Font picker allows you to find the right font for the job.
25. Color Picker
colorPicker is a widget-like AIR application that lets you either choose a “web-safe” color from a color grid or design a color using sliders to adjust the red, green, and blue values of the color.
26. COLOURlovers Desktop Color Finder
The COLOURlovers Desktop Color Finder lets you search the entire COLOURlovers database, which contains over 300,000 color palettes and almost 1 million named colors.
27. WebSnapShot
Websnapshot allows you type a URL then take a snapshot using one of the three sizing methods; Thumbnail, Browser or fullpage view.
Twitter Clients
28. TweetDeck

This is a great app for managing you Twitter account(s). It lets you update, post images, shorten links, and group those you follow. And there’s even an iPhone app you can use that will sync with your Air version.
29. Twhirl
Twhirl connects to multiple Twitter, laconi.ca, Friendfeed and seesmic accounts.
30. Seesmic
Seesmic Desktop is one of two Adobe Air apps that help you keep on top of your Twitter and Facebook accounts. It supports Twitter lists, so you can keep up with your own, and the ones you are following. Another great feature of this application is that you can add the URL shortener and/or image sharing applications that you usually use. Seesmic bought Ping.fm late last year, so soon you will be able to update more than 50 social media sites in an instant. It is definitely a must-have Adobe Air app to have.
31. Spaz
Spaz is a free, award-winning Twitter client for the Adobe AIR platform, offering notable features such as access to direct messages and replies, CSS theming, and event sounds.
32. DestroyTwitter
DestroyTwitter is a robust but compact Twitter application built to run on Mac, Windows, and Linux using Adobe AIR. It consists of a series of canvases that constantly update to keep tweets current and up-to-date using notifications that appear immediately after a new tweet arrives. DestroyTwitter also features complete direct messaging functionality.
33. Toro
Toro is a very simple and light weight twitter client designed for fast tweeting.
34. Ada
This is said to be the world’s fastest twitter client. A very easy to use and configure. Just login and start tweeting!

Skimmer is an Adobe AIR desktop application designed to streamline, beautify, and enhance the experience of participating in your most frequently used social networking activities. It improves upon your everyday interaction with multiple social networks by providing a rich experience that is particularly suited to multimedia related content.
36. Posty
Posty, an award winning application, will automatically deliver your messages to the services you select among Twitter, Jaiku, Tumblr, Friendfeed and Identi.ca.
37. FaceDesk
facedesk is a desktop application that will handle all your facebook related stuff, so you don’t need to open the browser for facebook related activitiy
38. DiggTop
DiggTop is an application for Windows and MacOSX that lets you view a blended list of your favourite Digg topic or keyword feeds.
39. Babuki
Chat to your MySpace, MSN, AIM, Yahoo and Gtalk friends from the web or the desktop.
40. BTT
bTT lets you receive update from friendfee, post to friendfeed, send and receive tweets with twitter out of one application on your desktop.
41. MySocialAIR
MySocial is the newest Twitter/FriendFeed desktop app on the block, although MySocial has previously released a Firefox sidebar addon that offers similar functionality.
42. Alert Thingy
Alert Thingy allows users to see the data stream from people they follow on FriendFeed, and post new messages directly to the service.
43. Facebook for AIR
Facebook Desktop for AIR is a new desktop application developed with Adobe AIR using facebook API. It goes through all the authorizations and deliver the news feed on your desktop. You can publish your content straight from your desktop to your wall.
Miscellaneous
44. Klok

Klok is a personal time tracking application that makes it easy for anyone working on multiple clients, projects or tasks to keep track of their hours. In contrast to many time entry applications, Klok is meant for those of us who want to press a button when we start working and another when we stop.
45. Lupo Manager
Lupo Manager extracts strings from your source code, manages resource bundles and implement i18n logic in your Adobe Flex® / Adobe AIR applications in a very productive manner.
46. Password Keeper
Super light password manager created using Adobe Flash CS3 and Adobe AIR 1.0
47. MyDEsktopNotes
This widget offers the possibility to create notes shown on your desktop. You can create multiple notes and customize them.
48. Joom Edit
Joomedit is a desktop based Joomla content manager built in Adobe Flex/AIR. It is designed to allow you to manage Joomla content from a sleek and freindly browser independant desktop user interface.
49. Ebay Desktop
eBay Desktop – With all the amazing features already found on eBay, this desktop version will blow you away. It has a much slicker and simplified search tool and design.
50. Polaris
Polaris provides a way for you to view your Google Analytics right on your desktop. There used to be a Google Analytics Adobe Air app, but unfortunately, the links no longer work. Therefore, Polaris is a good alternative to use. You are given all the options you would get if you were on the Google Analytics site. Polaris also offers various reports that you can use to check how well your site/blog traffic is.

I don't know why, but I face a problem while downloading Adobe Air. I tried to download it because I wanted to use TweetDeck, but unfortunately, it was giving an error.
But this list is great…haven't heard of most of the apps.

Have you ever identified an advanced copy/paste program that runs in Adobe Air? I am looking for something that I can run to drag/drop into my emails for responses that I send over and over. I have the responses saved in NotePad, but this is archaic. I am looking for something advanced.
