Just a while ago, Symbian was the OS used very wide but now there are some new Android and iOS users. Still, there are many of them using Symbian in their phone and for them, today I am going to give them some cool new applications which they might be using already or not but here I am going to provide them all those applications with full version download links so I hope you will enjoy it.
S40 (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 6th) Editions
1. Nimbuzz This is a must have application for any Symbian device as it allows you to use Gtalk, Yahoo, Skype, Facebook and many other messengers from your phone. Download it from here.
2. Opera Mini Browser The default browser in s40 devices is not so effective, good and productive so many users prefer to use Opera Mini browser which works quite effectively. Download it from here.
3. Snaptu This is another wonderful application to have in your phone which includes many other applications like Facebook, Twitter, Live cricket-soccer scores, feed reader, Picassa and many other. Download it from here.
4. Ms Dict This is a utility which can be used in your s40 phone as this dictionary contains all the features you need to have in a dictionary program. Download it from here.
5. Your recommendations ? As you all know, S40 is not so good to run applications in it and listing an application which might not be helpful so I would need your feedback and recommendation to expand this list.

1. Nimbuzz
As I mentioned in s40 section, Nimbuzz is a must have application for any symbian device with which you can use all your IMs at one place and it is very easy to use application. Download it from here.
2. Gravity
Gravity is one of the best twitter client ever made for a Symbian device. It gives you a real tweeting experience with tabbed view of your Timeline, replies, messages on your mobile. Download it from here.
3. Opera Mobile 10
Browsing full sites in your default mobile browser might not be a good experience so why don’t you try using this cool Opera Mobile 10 browser ? Download it from here.
4. SMS Spam Manager
Do you receive lots and lots of message from a single number or some messages from advertising companies ? Now you can send them directly to your spam box with this wonderful application. Download it from here.
5. SmartMovie Player
Default media player in Symbian device does not play .avi and some other file types so for that you will need a special player to play them. SmartMovie is a very cool and trendy media player which plays almost all files which a default player does not. Download it from here.

I'm a big fan of Snaptu. I use on my moto. Even Nimbuzz is one of favorites. Try pulling out a list of all .jar apps

well yes, even I like Snaptu but unfortunately I have not used any phone of s40 series so I have very less idea about its softwares so that is the reason why I can't make a list out of them but I have listed all those must have application which i have used so far as .jar files

I havn't used symbian. s60.
But for most basic mobiles, nimbuzz and Opera min are the best ones. also sony mobiles are better with ebuddy than with nimbuzz, for java supported ones. i love ebuddy on my Sony c510i
